Will anyone have chicks in May or June?? I am so hooked on getting buckeyes and I don't even own a single chicken yet. Just something about these that I already love.

Oh, come on Laura, you could send me some eggs, I know how bad shipping can be, I wouldn't blame you. So if you get to many to incubate (especially bantams) you can let me know and I will pay regular price and won't complain at all no matter what.

I do have some LF eggs to ship, I always ship a generous dozen and let you know up front what you get is what you get. Broken eggs with damaged box, I will send some more but you pay postage.

OK, THIS IS SO UNBELIEVABLE IT DESERVES ITS OWN POST!

I went to El Dorado show today (did not exhibit) and met some folks to deliver 25 week old buckeye chicks. They wanted buckeyes so bad they drove 7 hours from Tulsa just to pick up the chicks. Yea bfrancis and wife, come on, show yourself.

Also delivered 20 7 week old chicks to a guy from western Arkansas (DeQueen). (thanks Laura)

I admit.....my family did drive 7 hours to pick up some Buckeye chicks!

Whenever we stopped for fuel or snacks, we gave the chicks a drink. we did stop and get a bigger transport box too. We made it home fine, already had the brooder ready to go. All chicks are happy and healthy. We did turn up the radio on the way back though; between a two year old learning to talk and 28 peepers, it was fun coming home.

We chose Buckeyes after much research....I think these will be a great addition to our little farm.

Once I figure out how....I will add photos

PS, Thanks Jen for meeting with us and showing us some the unique traits of the Buckeyes, you are A+ in our book!
