I have the same white on the back of the heads of a couple of mine. Otherwise great looking pullets. I will try to get a pic tomorrow. Probably the same thing.

To all those reading this thread who celebrate Christmas, I wish you a Very Merry Christmas indeed from the Haggarty Family and all the critters here on Pathfinders Farm. For those of you who don't celebrate this particular holiday, we send thoughts of hope and peace and light, and to everyone we send wishes that your New Year will be filled with prosperity and joy.

Cheers,

jenjscott, good others have seen this on their birds. They are faint spots but Speckles is the neatest hen she comes rght in the door with you and would sit in a chair and watch TV. So if these specks indicate friendly personalites I keep them for sure.

No response from Matt John, Laura, so keep me on your list! Would love to drive down and meet the Haggarty family and homestead anyway.

We can do that, as long as you promise to wear rubber boots and clothes that haven't been around other birds (I have this OCD thing about biosecurity.)

You sound like Speckledhen.I went to her house to purchase some delaware chicks and she sprayed me down with her spray before I could come into her yard.I guess you can never be to safe and I can not blame you.

OK, not a great pic, if you need better will do when I have someone to hold the chicken or run the camera. These two have the white feathers, or parts of feathers. Actually, I'm not sure if its the entire feather.
