Hello Dan:Finally got through all 476 pages of this thread. I am guessing it would have been close to 500 had moderators and staff not deleted a bunch of BS.
Anyway, I took notes and I got lots of good info from this thread. I am glad all the good contributors have not left this thread! Although it does seem a few have disappeared.
Chris & Laura thanks for all your good posts and for answering the many repetitive ?'s by noobies and otherwise. Chris I am Sorry your birds are Not perfect!Obviously some are convinced theirs are. LOL!!

That is quite an accomplishment if you read all those pages. I am sure my thinking has evolved over the years and the pages probably refect some of that -- I am always learning new things and I do not mind changing something if I discover a better way to do something.
We had storms here in East Alabama this past Monday and my electricity has been off since Monday (finally came on last night {Wednesday} ), and it has been an ordeal. When I get caught up, I am going to try and post some new pictures I have taken recently. I think the thread always benefits from pictures of Buckeyes.
Please feel free to ask questions. If I don't have an answer, there are others who may, or I can always try and find an answer from more knowledgeable folk. Also, post any observations you make of your Buckeyes as I gain a lot of knowledge from others' experiences. We're all here, hopefully, to learn from one another. At least, that is the reason I keep posting here (and this is about the only forum I post consistently on -- as others will tell you, I don't do Facebook and don't participate a lot anywhere else -- I don't have the time for a lot of social media). BYC Forum has been around for some years and attracts a wide variety of people from beginners (who will want to know if you have to have a rooster to get eggs) all the way to to some very experienced poultry breeders, poultry exhibitors and APA judges. It is what makes BYC so interesting, the wide array of people and their experiences -- something you have to realize . . .
