Them are really nice pictures. Looks like you chicks are going to get spoiled which is a good thing. You also look like your a good carpenter.

just curious as I am new to Buckeye's. I posted a picture of my roo on the Buckeye contest page and I wanted some feed back as to what qualities I need to improve on and which ones are good.

Of course, I'm no judge, but the main thing I see is the comb. It is sort of a wavy line instead of a series of bumps, I'm sure I made that perfectly clear.

I don't know how heavily that is judged. The color looks nice, and the tail carriage appears correct. However, if you look at "Mohawk" in the pic Dave posted above your post, his tail is lower, but the standard calls for forty degrees, Of course,I can't see the slate bar in the back feathers. My cockerel has orange eyes and the judge commented they were too light. supposed to be red bay, whatever that is, I imagine about the same color as the plumage?

Now that being said, remember I am just a beginner myself, and maybe someone else can pitch in here and help. You could go ahead and post your pictures here is you wanted to.

I didn't get my buckeyes this spring, but while we were at the Mahoning county Educational farm for their Baby Shower, what did I come across but a Buckeye! She was so pretty.

Of course there was no one around for me to ask, Who's Buckeye is this, Do you have more???

Once the meaties are gone maybe I can squeeze in a chick or two

I picked up a couple chicks for the kids a few weeks earlier. Sadly no buckeyes, but I'm sure there's a roo in the cornish x batch we have.

Or did you mean is the buckeye in the pic a roo? I don't know.
