Here's a pic of my Buckeye cockerel. Not the best 'cause it's just a facial shot, but it gives a good view of his developing pea comb.

Saw two of Janet's birds she sold to 4-H members at the NWMO State Fair yesterday. They were amazing. If there was justice in this world that cockerel would have won it all. The judge has a 'history' with the family I was told and refused to award him anything. I watched her and she barely looked at the bird

. I believe the pullet got a 3rd but couldn't see or hear at that point.

I'm guessing there is no way to sex this breed until they start crowing?
