It's not Pippin, rather the youngest sister. I dont have pics at the moment as I have covid. I'm really worried. I hate covid so much. My symptoms have faded (all) but still I dont wanna risk giving it to others

Rats are horrible! Be careful hanging the cages; I think they can climb and jump.

There are many threads about getting rid of rats on BYC. So far, I have only had mice, and they were fairly easy to live trap.

Panda died. They fought. Her and her cage mates fought really bad. Her whole head was bleeding. I have covid and I can't even go check on them. My uncle says he knows who hurt her and will separate that bird. I cant. Pompy, my tamed blue budgie already was hurt because of that cage, but survived. Panda couldn't. That cage is a whole damn curse. I hope we will be separating the right bird, I don't wanna lose anyone else to a violent budgie.

I WAS OUTSIDE MINDING MY OWN. BUSINESS, ALONE, BECAUSE COVID. THEN I SAW A RAT. THEN SOMETHING CLICKED. I QUICKLY SEARCHED RAT BITES AND BUDGIES.

LONG STORY SHORT, THOSE BUDGIES DIDNT FIGHT TO DEATH, UNCLE WAS WRONG, ITS RAT. THEY KILLED MY BUDGIES. AS SOON AS I REALIZED THAT, MY BESTIE UNCLE MESSAGES ME THAT MY FINCH DIED. ITS A RAT. OMG.

That's terrible! I'm so sorry! Hopefully you can find a way to keep the rat away from your birds.

Now I'm torn between who killed panda. Her younger sister is indeed acting like she's gone crazy but my other bird was defo a rat attack. Never have I ever encountered a psycho budgie
