Budgies in an aviary?

I have Budgies in my aviary but they are in a huge cage of their own with their own water/food toys etc. This way they are part of the flock but don't get out and I can take care of all the birds together. I do get the impression that they are communicating with the other birds, (Silkie chickens, Frillback Pigeons, Doves, any maybe the mouse who lives under the coop)

update: the finches and buttons have been outside since we finished the aviary. My budgies have been out most of that time with the exception of a few nights that temps fell below 40*
the budgies wings were clipped very aggressively in my opinion so they stay low with the buttons. We are currently looking for a ladder that will allow them to climb a bit higher. But when we’ve brought them in, they start protesting as soon as they see the sunshine! My finches just hatched another clutch of 3-5....(they really insulated the nest so it has been difficult to obtain an accurate count). There have been zero attempts to escape which is good!! :love
