Buff bantam chicks?

We are in SE PA. I'd love to see pics of your silkies...how old are they?

I have 3 adult hens that are 2 or 3 years old. I got chicks this year too. They are around 3 or 4 weeks old.

Do you have Gold Tops in the US? They're a red sex-link from a gold silkie cockerel and light sussex hen; useful as broodies. Could they be that maybe?

I didn't realize there were sex link silkies. I love the silkies but the difficulty to determine gender when young is super frustrating.

Well, they're not true silkies, per-say, just from a silkie father, so they don't have silkie feathering. They were bred to be bigger and hardier than silkies but to retain the mothering instinct, I believe.
