Buff Barred Cochin Thread

Beautiful!

Cute! I love watching all the buff barreds. This looks like it will be as much fun as the MF project.

Here is the first baby to hatch from the mature buff barred roo from Aarron and one of the very light hens with him.

I have had others to hatch out and I do not take photos of them all but I set every egg those pens lay. I am super excited to see what BBQ will produce with these light hens. The mother of this chick above and her twin sister are in with him. Exciting!

Here's the pics of my chicks from Robin and his two hens from Wingshadow that I got over the summer. They are really lovely chicks. I especially like the largest one, but the others have a way to grow yet. I'm sure they'll be as lovely.

Very nice Amy. I can't wait to see what you get next year. YOu seem to really have a project going now with as many BB's as you acquired lately. I'm kind of jealous. LOL. :th

sbucciarel- I can't wait to see what you get from Robin. These chicks look great.;)

Oh Amy, how adorable. I started setting up breeding pens today. No one is laying yet but I want to be ready when they do :)

Thanks. I just thought I should snap a few photos as I start out and see if chick down changes as the breeding program goes on and what chicks will look like from certain hens and roos.

Lynne, I am tickled you are getting ready! Next year will be exciting for us all!
