Buff Barred Cochin Thread

Seems like my frizzles throw 90% frizzles. I didn't think it was supposed to work that way, but in both my Cochin and my Polish pens I am getting almost all frizzled chicks. (I think I have two? smooth Polish chicks total!)
In one Buff Barred pen I had Melody, Red frizzled, in with Sammy and Woody. Amazingly they all got along and she laid well for me. First 2 chicks are boys!

Very nice Nancy- still waiting for my red frizzle to lay so I can hatch some chicks from Nugget.

Yah, I'm really anxious to see him mature. I have given a lot of thought to this project lately and I think I need to get some more hens and maybe some hens split to black barred to keep from the constant double barring which is continuing to get lighter and lighter. But, I know Nugget has a really good color/ pattern so if I can get my hens color and pattern down I feel like I could make something happen with this project. Nugget is slightly slacking in the cushion though.:/

As of right now I don't have really anything available except for cockerels. I should have more available in a few months. I am sure somebody here has something available or will soon.
