Hello,

I have a pair of buff brahmas and I’m 90% sure one is a female but the other has me stumped (or in denial). I have additional photos if needed.

Thanks everyone. Anyone have experience with male Brahmas? Everything I’ve read says they’re super sweet, but I have a 4 year old and am not interested in having large aggressive birds in my little flock. We have a bantam rooster, but I doubt he weighs a pound, so he’s no problem. But.. Brahmas are big lol.

I would say bantams have a bigger chance of doing damage than a Brahma lol

HAHA! Yeah, he’s got quite the attitude.

Handsome cockerel. My Brahma was a terribly aggressive bird....needless to say, he's not around anymore. That's only one bird, though, so don't take my word for it.

Bantams can jump and flog a child easily. Any bird has the potential - you don't want an aggressive bird regardless of size or breed
