Buff Brahma 3 months

I have a 3 month old buff Brahma that is supposed to be a girl, but I am having serious doubts (though these are my first chickens and I am pretty clueless!). She is a real sweetheart, definitely in charge of the rest of the girls (we thought bread hen), and very friendly with us. I am attaching some pics which I hope will be helpful. And yes, I’m calling her ‘she’ until otherwise confirmed - I can’t get used to the idea of her being a boy Many thanks!

Yep, she’s a he…. Here’s a pic of my buff Brahma pullet at the same age. No wattles and she’s usually a very light pink. (She’s POed about something here. )

Oh dear, yes I’ve had my suspicions but was hoping not. We’ve always laughed at ‘her’ chunky legs compared to the others, and ‘she’ has been chest bumping a lot since the day she arrived . Do the roosters tend to crow a lot when mature? I’m not allowed to have roosters here, but this is our absolute favorite chicken and we’d be crushed if we had to re-home.

I’ve not had a Brahma rooster yet, so don’t know if they’re any more vocal than other breeds. Based on overall personality, I’d take a WAG (wild assed guess) and say they’re probably pretty laid back.

OBTW, my two dark Brahmas were fighting like roosters yesterday. They’d run at each other and jump up feet first. Unlike boys, they never connected.
