BUFF BRAHMA or ???

Bought Buff Brahma eggs and only 2 hatched . .The gold one looks like what i would expect.The other guy not so much.

My photos arent so great but He is brown and has white wingtips. The center of the other Buffs back looks a little dark sort of on the order of this ones whole body .What is he? Could he be a "BUFF" Brahma.?

I have had Buff Brahma chicks that had lots of initial variation in color. As they age they all seem to even out. Both of your gold chicks look like Buff Brahmas to me for now.

If there is any chance they are mixed, you will just have to wait a bit to know for sure.

Thanks i have never had a baby BB before so its brown color wasnt sure that would turn gold!!The other i feel more positive as she is gold.

My BB chicks were dark like the one in your pic. They are grown now and they color came in just fine!

That relieves me although i have to sell her to someone as they bought 2 BR chicks and the other egg didnt hatch
Had 6 more BB's BOO!I Wanted to keep them both
Hoped to have lots more but even just one but dang shipped eggs the ride jostles them so. and heat ..How do you get GREAT looking chicks though if you dont get shipped.?
