since our two banty chicks didn't make it, we are going back to get more this weekend, and I was thinking about getting another Brahma pullet or two, but light this time, instead of a buff... I was wondering what I might expect when I breed her to my buff roo next year...

Now the resulting silver males will not be pure silver, they will also have buff bleeding through.

sort of like the hackles on the BR X BO Roosters we hatched had little patches of color?... when it first started showing, we thought it was blood, but it was just some color they got from their moms...

If you take pullets from this mating and breed them to the Buff father the second year you will basically get all buff male and female
