Buff Dewlap Toulouse Thread

If you line the crate or dog kennel with pee pads used for puppies you can removed the top one and throw away to help remove the smell as you travel. I would suggest covering the entire back seat in traps to protect it.

Good suggestion! We may just do that :) Also good tip on the tarp lol.

Can't be any worse than broody poop.. That's what I'll have to remember.. Nothing is that bad.

So we are getting some puppy pads for sure. Have to stop by WalMart tonight. We are only 3 hours away from our Winston now! :woot

We have driven a total of 1,400 km thus far. My eyes are dry lol. We bought an audio book, and that has helped us pass the time really easily! Though we did have to shut it off once we hit Montreal.. There are a lot of lanes of traffic, and all the signs are in French, so we relied heavily on GPS. :p

Did I mention I settled the money issue with the owner? It was a misunderstanding. Everything is working out :celebrate

I guess the girls are peeling the paint off the inside of the barn at home. Up to no good as always

Best wishes for a safe journey home with your new gander!
Thank you! We have made it to Toronto safely and intact. Puppy pads, vanilla air fresheners and a tarp was purchased to save the back seat. Long trip back, but totally worth it I'm sure :D Can't wait to meet Winston! Pictures to follow on Saturday or Sunday :)

I am getting pictures tonight, promise..

Just thought I'd let everyone know that Winston has made it home and is in love with our girls.

Do geese not have a pecking order? There was not a single squabble, and I saw him love nibbling Tilly this morning.. Like the girls do to me when they see me. :love

Winston is smaller, but is also younger. I'm looking forward to watching him grow. He was not very happy with us at first. He hissed for a good hour or so - any time we looked at him. After 3 hours, he was tolerating neck scratches and after 8 hours was tasting my engagement ring. :yesss:

Okay here he is with the girls :D Everyone meet Winston!

(Centre) Rosa on right, Tilly on left. I actually like that Tilly has blue eyes. It makes it easier to tell them apart.
