Our young Split Ganders are finally showing promise although they were late hatched and now 4 months old.

They seem to have developed steadily this time and as they emerge from their soft body moult we're increasingly pleased with them. Here's a picture of the best so far and named Dewie. He's got good keel shape and development and his dewlap is coming in nicely. Just needs to finish moulting on his back now.

We'll try mating him with one of the Buff females in the Spring but his line is very fertile so its fingers crossed.

Thanks Shellie and pleased you like him. Think he'll be a good introduction to the buff line.

Ill bet you're pleased to see breeding behaviour. Its that wonderful Florida climate. Roll on early Feb as www hope to be in Disney.

Pete it is so perfect here right now. They claim we will have a colder than usual winter, we shall see. Cant wait for you to post you are heading our way. Disney with children is truly magical in every way. Your daughter will get to see the new fantasyland and Belles castle!

Your juv boy will be so much fun to see next fall when he has a chance to put a years growth on.

oohh by February I might be expecting our first hatches of the year too! lol

We're looking forward to the break and its the children's main Xmas present as we intend to fly out a month later and escape the British winter. Im sure Leah will love the new Fantasyland. Its just so darned expensive but they kids will love it

The other split brothers are showing promise too so we're hoping their size and type will influence the Buffs. They're the grandsons of our original Dewlux so we're looking forward to developing the buffs with that type and size. Next fall will be a good time to fully appraise them as theyre still actively growing and developing

We went to disney as kids with my parents best friends (and their kids). My dad's friend calculated that it cost us $36 an hour - even while we sleeping - for that vacation. My parents vacation every year. To Alaska, to Jamaica, to the Bahamas, and that vacation was the most expensive. ;)

This is my picture for this week. Tilly & Rosa were not happy when the food was gone  I've been fermenting feed and everyone is crazy about it.

Hello Everyone,

Thought I'd share the newest pictures of Napoleon and Josephine. We got them from Janet.
