Me too Paula, I track each and every girl to know if we have a potential problem along the way. Dont need a sudden emergency of being egg bound. (knock on wood we havent had that problem in the past)

i started just out of wanting to know how many to expect in future years, but there are so many reasons to keep track.

yep when weather causes a delay in laying its always a sigh of relief to have the next egg show up

Well Celtic, so much for the end of the snow! We got 10-12 inches last night and this morning. It did make for some awesome pictures though. Geese amaze me. They don't even blink at these harsh conditions and are breeding and laying like troopers.

My Sebbies are back to laying and my American Buffs and Buff Dewlap Toulouse are kicking the laying thing into high gear. I just hope spring catches up with my geese because I am running out of room for babies. Everyone think warm, spring thoughts and send them to Northern Iowa for me !

My first Buff Eggs!

I hope I have two girls, but one may have been laid yesterday, its muddy. Today its bright and sunny (and cool) and one eggs was perfectly clean.
