update just talk to one of the owners of incubator warehouse and they are taking care of this with no problems and considering discontinuing the thermostat

Thanks Pete, He's redoing the elements so we have a back up to keep it from over heating ever again. I told him I'd rather lose electric and it go cold. At least in that case the babies have a chance... with the over heating like that nothing could have survived.

On a happier note I got 3 Sabastopols hatched but the colors are not what I was expecting so someone has *hidden* color somewhere

Yes cooling is less lethal to embryos than overheating!
