Buff duck needs a girlfriend

hello everyone! I have a buff duck I bought in San Francisco and drove him all the way to Boston about 3 years ago. It is now time for me to get him a girl-friend. I’m not sure if I should get a female duckling or an adult one.
I also have no idea which breed gets along best with buff ducks.
Any help will be much appreciated it thank you!

Definitely get him an adult friend. He will most likely pick on a duckling. You should get your duck company ASAP, as they are pretty social. As to a breed that gets along well with your duck, I'm not sure. I assume that your duck would appreciate any breed of duck for company, though. Good luck!

I have 2 Buff females and they get along great with Runners.

I know this is too far, but I know someone in VA who is rehoming a 2 yr old lady Pekin! If you get desperate..... road trip LOL!
