buff orp chick?

Here's a pic of one of my babie buff orps. She's about a week and a half old here.
Hope this helps.

that is just what she looked like a week ago...now the edges of maybe five tiny feathers on each wing are going dark...Are the adult Orps completely buff? Or do they have some darker color to them?
I hope she's a buff...I hear they are good setters.
Thanks for the pic.....sooo cute!

I am new at raising Buff Orpingtons I just got 2 new chicks they are almost ten days old now, I have been told they are good layers of brown eggs. I haven't notice any color change in their wing tip feathers yet.

Hi NOSPRINGCHIC,
The pic I put up was a pic from a week ago, so they've got somewhat bigger and more wing feathers. One is lighter than the other one and her wing feathers are really light almost pale yellow/tan. The other darker girl has a few light brown wing feathers on the ends. I'm sure that there are variations in what's condidered "normal" for buff orps.
Can you put a pic up? I'd love to see what you've got there.

i don't have a digital camera, but I'll try to do it with the phone.
Also, her wing feathers are 1/2 the size of the other chicks the same age......can't figure that one out...

I'm not sure these will be much help since I don't take pictures very well.
My two buff orps, Buffy and Goldie (

I know, real original! ) are slighty different in that Buffy is just a bit lighter in color than Goldie.

Here they are at 6 weeks old:

And this one is probably the least help, but I think its funny.
After the first two nights in the coop, I opened the coop door for them and Buffy and Goldie (10 ks old) took turns looking out, then turning around. This lasted for about three minutes before Millie (momma) had enough and pushed them out!
