Hi. I've kept bantams for a while and decided to buy a couple of young buff orpington hens approx 15 weeks old back in November 2017.
We had a guarantee from the breeder that they were hens and if not he would replace them if they turned out to be cockerels. Now one has definately turned out to be a roo, he was such a character we decide to keep him but had doubts the other was a hen. I sent pics to the breeder and he claimed the other was definately a hen due to the shape of the feathers. Jemima the buff orpington has never laid, never been treaded by the roo and has now started crowing on and off. Can anyone give me any advice? Thanks
