I had one BO that kept me believing she was a he until she laid her first egg... Sometimes it is just too darn hard to tell until they either crow or lay an egg! But both your BOs look like very pretty pullets to me!View attachment 1478942 View attachment 1478947 View attachment 1478948 View attachment 1478949 These chicks are 7 weeks old and one of the BO is MUCH bigger than the other one (since day one). Pics are today, I did my best with constantly moving chicks! The one with him/her with the barred rock is because she is the same size as the other smaller BO. Insight would be great! One of the other barred rock turned out to be a rooster (definitely) and the big BO and him go chest to chest more often than any of them.
