Buff Orpington or Buff Rock?

She is a Buff Rock. Not very good color for a Buff Rock but she is a Buff Rock.

MomtoSyd&Emma,

The first one in line is a Buff Rock and the Second one in line is a Buff Orpington..
Yellow feet are the Rocks and White are the Orpingtons.

Yeah what he said. lol! What stumbled me was that their eggs look very, very similar! He didn't say the farthest one in the back, so I will. Buff Orpington xD! According to a few people on here, Buff Rocks shouldn't be bigger then Buff Orpingtons, but mine is

okay here is my few bits.... son bought full grown buff rocks from a guy this winter because they stopped laying for him(*it has been cold here what did he think?). Anyway they are beautiful birds but are bigger than by BOs and have a golden head and neck. I too thought that the BO were supposed to be bigger than the Buff Rocks but they are not.

LOVE my Orps!!! They are friendlier than my giant cochins! They coming barreling across the yard as soon as they see or hear the door open! They are super friendly! Oh yeah and mine lay like champs!

Henderson's chicken chart says Buffs are 8 lbs, rocks 7.5 lbs. I suspect that most stock doesn't get close to that. I also suspect that most lines are not that pure and a yellow leg showing up wouldn't be so surprising.
