buff orpington/rhode island red cross

Pullets right now. That is a next year thing. I was just curious. Of course, I have a buff that turned out to be a cockerel so I may go that way.

Yes. There are only 2 months old

Ran across this thread looking for RIR/BO cross.I've got a beautiful RIR X BO rooster I'm crossing with Barred Rock hens making very pretty black sex link pullets. Here's a pic of the roo with his hens. I'll try to get a pic of the pullets.

I'm hatching this cross this spring. I have 4 chicks now. 2 in pics and 2 a wk younger. In three days I will hatch about 6. (I hope) my plans are to cross one of these to a Delaware/ Australorp pullet I hatched last month. It is the bared chick pic.
