Thanks. The unbelievable part is, the woman who I got it from was replacing a rooster (her gaurentee). She said she was 99.9% sure it was a hen. Within 5 days of bringing it home, it started having pretty serious respiratory issues. I've been nursing this chicken back to health for 6 weeks. I did not quarantine it because she is the breeder I used for all of my chickens. When I contacted her two weeks later with my concerns, she informed me she had moved 1.5 hours away. Anyway, lesson learned! I don't know what I'll do if this poor bird turns out to be a roo.
