*Buff Orpington Thread!*

I have two Buff Orpingtons now and they are doing awesome! They never did stop laying, once they started, and i think they are only 9 months old too! They are very adventurous chickens, we have an acre and a quarter for them to roam around in but they enjoy going into the neighbor's yards too! LOL! My neighbors do not really mind, and at the end of the day when it is time to round them all up with the other chickens I have, they are almost always way ahead of us and waiting by the coop!
 
Oh my!! I was just out in the coop and squatted down petting on some of my girls when one of the 6 month old BOs flew up onto my shoulder!! She rode there all the way while I walked into the house to show the kids! Apparently, she thinks she's a parrot... Lol so cute!!

Isn't it fun............My husband was feeding the other day.......
We have a blue Wyandotte that prefers people to chickens. The rooster tried
to mate her she ran screaming and flew into my husbands arms.......................

We lost our favorite OB last fall :( her name was Goldie and she was amazing!! We have a BO roo who is 7 month and he seems very sweet and gentle so far :)

Oh I know!! My sweety is always saying, "they're just stupid chickens." They r NOT STUPID, nor r they JUST CHICKENS!! I love them more than I love my dogs!!!
