Well, hello ladies! Names please.

I am fascinated with what people name their chickens.

Some people are really very clever with their chickens' names.

All eleven of mine are named ''Buffy"

The B.O. is Smores (named by my 14 year old daughter)
One of the Golden Laced is Nugget (named by my other 14 year old daughter)
The other Golden Laced is Batman ( named by my 4 year old son)
No name for the Barred Rock (no more children)

Robin! The nameless bird is Robin!

Okay so I have 5 Buff Orps. Just within the last 2-3 days I have one hen that shows all the signs of being broody. Growling,fluffing out,nipping. She will stay in the nest for hrs. Then lay an egg. I also have one hen that within the last 2 nights hasn't been roosting. She is laying on the coop floor in the corner. She's not hurt that I can see anywhere. Went would she be doing this?? HELP PLEASE. They are 6-7 months old.

Love those names! I don't think I have run across a chicken named Smores yet. Your children are very creative.
