*Buff Orpington Thread!*

Pretty Buff Orpington (English/American) pullet I am growing out from my breeders. I love her color and she is so sweet. :)
Wow she's got more type than a lot of grown birds I've seen! I love how your buff breeding is going! Still so excited to buy from you someday! Have had too many projects and still have to buy fencing and work on new runs lol

Thank you :) I am very happy with how they are growing out. I also have too many projects. I am going to have to make some decisions really soon.

Are you still planning that trip a little closer to where I'm at? Keep me updated! I might just throw up a quick enclosure for a few more chicks or started/grown birds should you have any.

I'm still working a shutdown right now (13 hour nights) until at least April 10 so I haven't made any definite plans other than to sleep for a few days...:) I will let you know if I head north anytime soon. I can't remember where you are. I have a friend that will be heading to Birmingham, AL sometime this month. Would that help?

Wanted to add a few new faces to my small backyard flock and after reading lots of posts and review I settled on Buff Orpingtons. These chicks are much quieter and less flighty than the Rhode Island Red chicks that I've raised in the past.

I've found that my orps are way calmer and friendlier than most of the breeds I have tried. Hope you continue to enjoy them! Post pics when you have time!
