and yes Daisy is the mosty curious out of the crew! She was the first one out of the coop this morning!

So excited that today I paid for 6 buff orp day old pullets! They will be delivered to my hardware store march 30th! I had BO chickens years ago and they are still my favorite chicken breed so cant wait to switch gears back to BO with my flock. Now I just need to find a BO rooster thats friendly!

Sounds exciting!
Love little ones (and big ones too!).
Post pics when the babies arrive.
Check your state thread or the buy sell trade forums here on BYC, sometimes someone wants to give up a boy, especially if he's not allowed where they live.
So far I've been pleased with my fella. The girls like him (grew up with him) and he is cordial with me, so no complaints (knock wood)

So I am also getting a lavender orpington rooster. I know they wont breed true and I am ok with that as long as they are orpingtons I wont be picky!

Lol I wanted to cross my buff roo with my lavender pullets when they're old enough but I also want to get some black roos or hens so I can also make some nice big lavs!! I'm still debating whether I should put 2 pullets with my buff roo or just get blacks and cross them! I just don't know lol with time I'll decide...... Hopefully
