The one on the far left is the primary one that definitely looks male. The one on the far right looks female. The other two I’d wait longer to be sure.

I agree with this. The two in the middle have smaller and paler combs than the obvious cockerel on the left. Saddle feathers will be making their appearance soon, hang on to them a bit longer to make sure.

I rehomed 2 of the buff orpingtons that were screaming ROO at me . This last fella I’m not sure ... he/she is missing tail feathers .. I’m not sure if it was cause of picking among the other birds . I’m curious to hear what this community thinks !
