Here are some of my orps. I just love them!! Full of character and so pretty. The first is our 20 week old rooster, Uncle Cracker, crowing at my front door this morning. He is so funny!!

And here is Uncle Cracker with one of his ladies, Scuttlebutt, our first pullet to lay.

Don't they look gorgeous in the morning sun!! Love my chooks.

You named your chicken Scuttlebutt?!

My kids did. There is a little song on one of their tv shows about "Scuttlebutt, what a nut, poopdeck. Poopdeck in his backyard." So my daughter says she is a quick chicken that poops on the deck in the backyard so hence the name. We also have a really pretty EE that is named Vulture. Not my choice either.

Here's the two buff girls with their young splash cochin rooster, Foghorn! The one on the right is Setherina and the one on the left is Caramel! They are just the sweetest things! They are about 4 months old right now, still not laying. But hopefully they will soon!!!!

Well, Vulture is a girl but when she was going through her awkward stage my daughter thought she looked like a Vulture and that is what she insists on calling her. She is really pretty but sadly has no muff. And I just love the muffs.
