Buff Orpinton - sounds like a roo to me

Hi all, Kind of a weird thing. I have a pair of Buff Orpingtons. Really nice birds, got them a little over two months ago as chicks. This morning one of them was making a noise a bit like a rooster. Sort of like a kid who's voice is cracking before it gets deeper in his teen years. He/she was really trying to belt out a song in any case. What's weird is that the other one is the one that looks like it's developing a roo's tail.

Any speculations? I'm happy either way...just curious I guess.

Didn't post pics as its more the voice I'm talking about, but I can take a few if anyone is curious.

does he tip his head up when he trys to make that noise?? sounds rooish to me. can u post a pic so we can be sure??
