Help! I am a new chicken momma. My babies (4 pullets, 1 rooster) are 8 weeks old. I notice that underneath som of their feathers look like they are turning black. What does this mean? is there anything special I should be doing for them?

That sounds normal - my BO's have small amounts of black on some of their feathers too.

Its normal! It just means their feathers are two colors!

Mine have black speckles on their feathers too.
