no i mean when she is laying on her side is when i set her down to walk away after picking her up.. her feet were cold too..

O.K. but you said she is laying on her side in your hand so she can't be too old. Either way it sounds like she is dying from lack of food and/or water especially since friend says "he might not have fed her".

yeah hes kind of irresponsible, which is why i took his cicknes off his hands, i hated to see them sit there and die in his coop. he said he hasnt had time for them.. and he said he might not have fed them in 3 WEEKS! sad isnt it? the roos looked healthy,but when i got the black and white crested first from the same guy a few days ago, they gobbled the food right down..

well the hen in need was packing food out of my gloved hand.. then i sat her inside the coop beside the food container and she ate out of it for a bit, and then walked away

she doesnt move around much.. anyone guess why?

I need you to listen carefully. You don't seem to be getting the picture here. Now you say she hasn't been fed in 3 weeks, lays down, and doesn't move around "anyone guess why". The hen is dying from lack of food and water. She is too weak to eat. It doesn't matter if the food is right there in front of her. You must encourage her to eat something right now. Cook an egg yolk and hand feed her. If you have cat food feed her some now.

should i go out there and wake her up and brang her into the garage and hand feed her? how long will it take to get her perky?

Yes - go get her and hand feed her. If she hasn't eaten for 3 weeks another 10 hours could kill her.
