Buff silkie question

Hello!
Can a buff silkie have any white or blue on it? For example a have a buff roo who is a solid buff color except for in his tail, which has a few blue and white feathers.

Technically, no they shouldn't. Where is he from?.
Splash/blue and Dominant white are found on Self-buff birds, these genes are introduced to make the inevitable black specks found on the tail and fly feathers hard to spot, you can confirm that on Danne Honour book about breeding buff colored birds(Danne Honour's own line of buff leghorns have segregated dominant white on them)

The male in question shows the Splash factor just because his tail feathers are visible, this means he is not show quality, but it does not mean that show quality buffs lack such Splash/Dominant white factors
