Tammy, Find some Hair styling tape to tie up the top knot. It is easy to pull off after. I'm going to look for some on Wenesday!

how long does the tape last, and do you have problems keeping the others from pecking it off, or the tapee shaking her head until it falls off?
Do you still pluck around the eyes when using tape?
Ive been using unflavored gelatin mixed with a little hot water, holds like glue and non toxic, you have to clip it up as it dries though...will post pics later if I get a chance... tape would be quicker in between "appointments".

I had the problem of her shakeing her head till the ponytail clip fell out . I will admit she was really cute to look at . I think I'll try the tape - the others picked at the clip on her head , I wonder how they will do with the tape . ( probably the same ) I would have never thought about gelatin -- clever . ~~ Tammy

I have plenty of non chicken friends that would go with I am crazy

The only person they know that sits up alnight just incase one cann't get out of the shell --- cooks scrambled eggs and makes salads for chickens -- wipes their little butts so they don't get sore .

But I love this kinda crazy

So I got a harness for my silkies!!! Lol, I plan on taking them to horse shows with me. Mostly so I have someone to talk to during trailering... LOL. I stress out during trailering and need someone to talk to, and I can't get a little dog. I'll just tell everyone its a poodle.

Muzzie- Im on day 22, and had 3 hatch one day after the other starting on day 19...this group is very slow, and I dont hear a thing either, but those eggs are moving around, so we'll have to be patient I guess

No buffs yet, just gray striped ones that were thrown in as extras!
