My little silkie roo, evee =) I bought "her" from a local feed store...too bad "she" turned out to be a roo. Really hoped she was just having an identity crisis, but nope.. Le Rooster.

That was peeps my favorite silkie chick and i think she might be a he. I had 5 but lost 2 to a huge hawk last week, was sooooo sad.

omgg whyy soo cuttee?!! how old is she/he? My buff silkie who was supppossseedd to be a pullet turned out to be a roo. He is 7-8 weeks old and he is soo tinyy ='( i wish i had bought more silkies...can't buy them anymore because my older chickens are still bullying the babies(the buff silkie, and an ee) since day 1. Wouldnt wanna know what theyd do to new fresh babies. T__T

He is 9 weeks old. I also have another buff and a splash. Actually the nicest ones that i thought were girls are the ones i lost to the hawk. The other 2 ran for the bushes. So i think i have 2 boys one girl. Ill send u a pic of the other ones see what u think.
It used to be that 3 would be looking for bugs and eating grass and the other two on constant watch.

Theyre so cuuutee!!! =D lol and from what i can see.. im guessing your buff is already developing some sort of tiny comb...not a good sign if youre hoping for a girl, but i could be 100% wrong!! LOL Although if you wanna find out their sex, there is a silkie sexing thread. They can try to help you sex your silkie, but you would need much better pics! Profile, front view, top view, and so on.
