Are these chicks going to be buff? Or maybe partridge? The started out looking more buff looking, but now they seem to be getting more grayish with other colors in the wings.

at 2 days old

And now, at about 12 days old

Thanks!

I'm so sad!! This is going to be my first time hatching & I have carefully picked out what chickens I want & waited u til it was warmer weather to begin. I purchased all of my supplies & have a loving home waiting for my new babies to join our family but everywhere I search i have no luck in finding silkie eggs to even begin :( I came across sundown waterfowl & fell even more in love with them...they are absolutely beautiful! Hope I can find some soon! Haven't given up yet!

Have you tried the parent club website? Also look at online poultry show results and pick a breeder who is consistently winning.
Also, subscribe to the poultry Press newspaper. Many ads and show results there. ( website). if you only need one copy,
you can buy a sample copy for 3.00

These are the only three varieties that I currently breed and raise. I am the Pennsylvania State Representative for the American Silkie Bantam Club. I can help you find breeders of other varieties of silkies if I don't have the colors you are looking for.
