I would feel bad sticking them in smaller runs, but I guess if it was just a few together then that wouldn't be bad.

all my bird are in breeding cage that are 2ft by 4ft that bigenuf for a trio of silkies or pair standard birds they dont seem to mind
 
Hello Thought I would join,
I joined this forum to get info on everything even though I live in New Zealand!
Here we do not have good silkies, some are very good but no one lets out their line. The main problem is SIZE is to small. But I recently aquired some buff silkies. Here they are aloud black in their tail. Mine are lovely big buffs. How do you guys go about raising them a such? And how could I breed the black out of their tails
