Building a 6x16ft Lean to Chicken Run

If I could afford it, metal roofing.
KK I think I'll go with the metal roofing, I just comped it up and it looks nicer anyways.. hope we can pull it off!!!

Just curious why specifically that location in the yard? Looks like you have more space to play with L/R of the garden boxes in pic and could pull it away from the fence
Ah we wanted to have space for us to walk by the house, we were thinking we woulda put more plant things by the back of the house. I realize I could have atleast moved it down 1-2ft, but I’ll just work with what I’ve got for now.

My coop-repurposed from a TSC prefab. It sits on 12 inch pavers. I bought 10 2x4's and 2x4 welded wire. I had leftover 1/2 hardware wire I used to wrap the bottom 4 ft high. Zip tied welded to 1/2 inch. Then I had a snake issue, so I wrapped in cheap chicken wire. No predator issues in last 6 months

Looks like you could get rain in the area around the peak of the tsc coop?

Hey guys, I'm back to say thank you for all of the advice you guys gave me in helping me to finalize my design plans for building my DIY Chicken coop. I am so proud of how it turned out, and so glad I listened about using galvanized metal roofing!! So far this is keeping them dry from storms, and safe from predators (to which we've had 2x fox and racoon visits thus far with no casualties).

I filmed the entire behind the scenes process for you guys to see!!

I also made building plans for anyone who wants to copy this in the future:

Thank you all again for allowing me to bounce ideas off of and provide suggestions on how to make this better/smarter :)
