I would absolutely have to spend the night out there before it was completed too! My DW would think I was crazy and that's ok. I understand that she is not the nature lover I am. She would probably keep me up all night with "What was that?!" "Did you hear that?"

While I would build a fire and chill out looking at the stars and listening to the night sounds. Oh the imagination runs wild with things one might do out there. Do a little fire dance and chant the names of loved ones who have passed on to the next plane. lol Make smores and sing Koom Bai Ya. Maybe make something to scare my DW with later on next month. Buaaa hahahahahaah. The things a mind can come up with when it put itself to the task!

Seriously though - I love this thread. Read it every day and twice on Sunday.

OH, I'll spend the night out there for sure ... we've camped out there a couple of times .. tonight is his night .. LOL

we moved from a farm we made on my husband's family's land to a place of our own this summer. We left a nice chicken coop with 40x40 run, a breeder coop, isolation coop. Horse barn and 16x24 goat barn. All for 20 acres with nothing on it. But it was ours not someone else's land and that meant a lot to us. But we left our farm for land with nothing, and I mean nothing, not even utilities. Trying to move us and our animals has been beyond stressful. We have had to cut down on how many we animals we have which has been very hard. We sold a horse today even to help with the stress of trying to get so much done before winter so the animals we have will be safe and happy.

I wish you good luck and try to not let it get to be too overwhelming.

Finally, some more progress .. this week has been a bit slow .. there have been changes, but really none that are too visable .. finishing touches on the framing .. taping up the radiant shield .. cleaning up angles etc.

Today when I pulled in .. I saw WINDOWS ..

And some siding ...

And the well guys were drilling for water ...
