As for the roof design, yes, it is for light but also ventilation. Make sure your upper windows OPEN, you'll want to use 'em

Just a side note Steve, when you build mine, I think I would like screens on my windows and I would like them to open. In fact, I would like you to stop by and open them in the morning and then close them ever night! That's included in the service right?!?!?!
