Building an "Old Style" henhouse.....move in day!....... (pics)

I called over to Lowes, I can get a 12x16 for $84.88

I am hoping I can also find a damaged/dent door when I go there to pick up the flooring.....maybe tonight, if not it will have to be next week.

Steve, don't forget to check the local Freecycle and Craigslist for a door. You might be able to find one for cheap or free. Nice bar in the basement too.

Thanks Chuck. I'll give it a look. I bet I threw away at least 2 doors last year I removed from jobs.....wish I would have kept one, but if I kept everything my place would be a mess.

Quality Inn, Comfort Inn, Best Western, etc make you whip out your wallet for a night's stay in their place............ I'd hate to think what one might have to whip out for a night in this place!

That's what I paid for mine at Home Depot, but the Lowe's here had the same price on theirs as well.

I ended up buying a new door, but not for my coop. DW wanted a new back door to the house so we'll use the old door for the coop. Guess I'm going to learn to be a door installer too.

I already replaced the house door when I built my gambrel barn.

The main (front) door is one of those fancy leaded glass prismatic things with a sidelight....unh unh, it ain't gettin replaced.
