Building new nesting boxes for chickens, have questions.

Hello, all.
As the title suggests, I'm going to be building new nesting boxes for my chickens pretty soon and, after going over a few design ideas, I have some questions. I'd like to incorporate a roll out design for easy egg collection but I don't know how steep to make the angle. I'm also unsure of bedding materials. My chickens seem to like the wood shavings I've been using but would that even be usable with a roll out design?
Also, I've been having a hard time finding actual blueprints with dimensions to get ideas from so if anyone knows where I can find some I'd really appreciate it.
