Swanky crib! We are in the midst of a tractor that is going to look like a little red barn. Maybe our next one can be elaborate like yours.

Thank you all - def. is sturdy as DH will not do anything half way - which also means more $$. I just keep saying I really HOPE I like chickens!

This "project" was my idea which started out with the thought if we don't like raising chickens we can re-home them and have firewood for our fire pit from the coop. As the project has grown in size and expense ($2100) I HAVE to LOVE chickens or I'm going to have some marital issues

24 baby chicks arrive on 5/11 - fingers crossed!!

Love your coop! I know you will like chickens, even my husband enjoys them...
I hope you will be giving the "girls" access to under the coop,it is the favorite place for mine!

Was able to get the exterior painted today and hubby built the door and the egg box doors. Getting so close to being done!! I'm pretty sure I will LOVE my little fuzzy babies when they arrive and it will be a lot of fun to watch them grow up and begin laying in the fall - that has to be an exciting day when that first egg is found!!
