well not to shabby for a freezing cold day...plenty of breaks tho....to stay warm..gotta love that woodburner....well see you guys tommarow

well had the egg man come over and we spent some time together chit chatting so not very much work got done...well got the second long wall done in place and all wired in...also got the other two long walls build and standing...heres a pic

still have 14 dozen eggs in the fridge...and I heard egg prices are going up...because the farmers now have to build bigger nests...farmers saying its going to cost a lot to rebuild so you know what that means...everybody jack their egg prices

there it is people...yes....and some of the people thought that what I charge for a dozen was to much so they were gunna go back to going to walmart for their eggs...I said ok go back and get your sloppy not fresh organic eggs then....and then this came out....lol....I think im going to increase my price again when the stores increase...
Yeah, if egg producers in Ohio are expecting to raise their prices, those of us in Michigan could easily do that as well.

@birdman55just wanted to say your thread has been highly motivational. I have a lot of projects lined up myself and following your thread has given me the inspiration to share my own progress with the BYC community.
Thank you.and keep up the great work.

that is what the purpose is for people....showing people and motivating people to do something that will be productive and yet pay for itself...I have met a lot of people on here and in the bird community...this coming week I will be joining the Michigan bird and game breeders association...so cant wait for that...im excited to get more info about the breeders in this state.....does anyone know if the u.s. has a country wide association with a list of all the breeders in each state....I have a list being put together right now of each state and the breeders in each one...I have spent a lot of time putting this book together...and also and getting stuff together to make a website as well...so this should be a great year....im not sure if im going to sell any of the birds that I raise up this year yet or not....my plan is to expand yet even farther into the birds as well...when I make the peafowl coops I will be putting breeder pheasants in with them as well....to save some space pen wise...well off to the four inches of snow we got to keep on building...this is gunna be so much fun...maybe I can make snow chickens.....lol

Good progress on everything and lookin good!

We breed pheasants too but are not in any association. We still have our Alaskan Snow, Lady Amherst and Red Goldens. Plus a few Ringnecks also. Besides the ducks and geese and chickens. Lol. And we gotta build on some more or finish a few more pens also. Getting kinda overrun here but loving it all the same!

Keep up the good work, later!
