bulge on neck

This is our first flock of chicks and appear to have one that might be sick

-she has developed a bulge on her neck - making her head push over to the side -
I am worried it is some type of cancer growth -
we have pushed on it and she does not act like it hurts.

any one ever seen or heard of such a thing

is it a full crop? They have a little "pre-stomach" in their necks and often stuff it full in the evening

only one chick out of the 17 we have - - and she is like that all day every day
she dont act like it hurts - Iam just concerned when she strarts laying eggs - should they be ate ?

If possible you should get her checked. It could be a tumor or something, or it could be an indication of a another problem. Personally, I don't know if I'd eat the eggs until I knew what it was.
