I have a flock of all different ages.Hatche don’t five chicks and picked up three chicks awhile back to add to my broodies bunch of chciks.I later on picked up two Easter Egger hens, and two Buff Orpington pullets who were about two months at the time. Its now a couple of weeks since we have had them and they have adjusted well.Accept for one of the

Apologies, most of the paragraph got cut out.The Easter Egger chases and bullies my younge chicks. She would never fight an adult as she is only maybe four to five months old.She escpecially chases and I mean chases and doesn’t stop my two two month Cochin pullets.Cannot be a space issue as it only happens during free range, adult birds put her in her place.Am just unsure if I can help the situation or just let it play out,the Cochin pullets are scared to death once they see her coming their way.And isn’t a normal scare as they would to adult hen who just runs at them, they get scared.

Well as I see it, there is no way that you can make her play nice with the other birds. I would either cull her ( although i wouldn't advise it since she is a pullet, or would sell her. EE's are very beautiful, so I don't think you'll have a problem selling her! Good luck!

Can they get away from her? Generally most of that stuff is just noise. If you are seeing true aggression you may have to step in and separate them. In general my bigger breeds will harass my bantams whenever the mood hits them, so I keep my bantam separately, though they can range in the same area if they choose. Bantam cochin hens are generally meek, and do better with their own set up. The boys on the other hand can handle themselves with the bigger breeds.

Ok,thanks for the idea of Seperation. They Can gets away and she does have a stopping point, but it does go on for about 30-40 seconds, which is quite long believe it or not.Lits of times she runs into my five week old poults and they attack her so she has so many other things to repremend her bad behavior,we will just wait and hope she forms cause May injury.

There is a few old saying that applies here. On is "Every Dog Has His Day"
To paraphrase the other saying... "When I'm not near the ones who bully me, I bully the ones that's nearest to my age."

Mixing several differing ages, sizes, and athletically enabled chicks will almost always result in some part of your flock paying for it with either a little or else a lot of their blood.

Chickens, all chickens come out of the egg with an innate desire or need to dominate their flock mates. Keep this in mind when you go mixing and matching a dukes' mixture of chickens. It seldom is as easy or as pretty as we first thought that it would be.
