Bum foot... Injury?

My 13 or 14 week old orpington pullet is suddenly (I think) having a foot issue. She keeps it in the air quite a bit, and often when she puts it down it ends up being that what should be the top and/or side is on the bottom. Doing a quick poke and squeeze check did not seem to hurt her. Not sure what's up.

Can you see if the foot has any bruising or injury?
What do you feed?

I would get B- Complex and give her 1/4 tablet a day.

You can try splinting/taping the foot flat to see if that helps too. Just be sure to check it daily and not wrap too tightly.

What is your kind of thinking with the vitamins?

If your grower feed is 17% or higher, then that should be fine.

I'm not sure about the question of my thinking with the vitamins? B vitamins are great in giving a boost. B2 (Riboflavin) is supportive of leg issues. The easiest way to get B vitamins into a bird is using human B-Complex vitamins. For age and size 1/4 tablet once a day is sufficient.
