Update......Don't know how to change the heading......sorry.

The next day ( yesterday ) when we went to re dress it.......sure enough.....there was a black spot on the pad.

Couldn't imagine taking a knife to that sweet girl.

DH put her down.

Sad ending...........thanks though for all the advice...I appreciate it.
